Outside reading 6
"She shot me a bemused smile as if to say, You do what you have to do to pay the rent." This quote comes from the book Marley and Me and you can find it on page 114. Marley and Me was writted by John Grogan. This quote seems to symbolize a lot of peoples views on how to get by in life. Wether it is good or bad you have to do what you got to do to pay the rent. In the book Marley and Me the situation is not so good. It suggests that one way 'to pay the rent' is prostitution. Even thought there are a lot of people who do buy into that there are still some good ways to pay the rent. One way is having an actual job or occupation. Anyway my suggestion is don't take the easy, illlegal way to make some quick money. For example prostitution or selling drugs. Actually try to do make money the morally right way.

I read this book a couple of years ago too! It's a really good book I thought, though I can't remember a lot of it I do remember this scene..outside of walmart or something, right? I hope you enjoy this book, as far as I can recall it was pretty good. It has the type of ending that I like..but I won't say anything to ruin it for you.
