outside reading #23

For this outside reading I read the next section of the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan. This section has a couple of things happen in it. The first one was John was asked to do a report on Flight 93 where a plane crashed in Shanksville, Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. Two years later John visits the place, interviews people who came and visited as well and learns something new about the country. He realized that the flag stands for valor and sacrifice. He also proud to be an American and he was hunble that he was not touched by the horrors of that day. The second thing that happened in this chapter is Marley fell down the stairs. With Malrey's old age this incident is not good because he is now down to one leg. He can't stand up so he sits all day long which means John and Jenny have to find a way for him to get outside for the bathroom. After a couple of days however he recovered and is able to walk and even make it up the stairs.

Outside Reading #22

For this outside reading blog I have read another chapter of the book Malrey and Me written by John Grogan. In this chapter Jenny is going to Boston with the kids to go and visit some relatives. John stayed back at home so he could do his job. With that John was working 10 to 12 hours a day. Since John was not going to be home Marley was going to a kennel so somone could take care of the old dog. When at the kennel Marley has an emergency. His stomach has a lot of food, water and gas in there and it starts to stretch and flipping therefore trapping its contents. The vets at the kennel were able to save Marley and bring life back into him The doctor in charge told John who is a ways away that the chance that this wont happen again is 1% and that once the stomach turns it will take a few hours before he dies. When John goes to pick him up at the kennel he is able to walk but Marley still is in poor shape.

OR All My Sons

When seeing the movie all my sons it changed the way I view and see the play in my mind. I pictured Joe being fatter or wider but not as old. When I saw the movie Joe appeared 70 years old and his weight looked normal. Another difference is Kate. She seemed older then I expected. The clothes they were wearing seemed normal to what the book was describing. For example Ann's white dress that everyone she looks pretty in. Another difference is the layout of the house becasue it looks like a modern day house that you might find today. Instead I thought they should of made it look like an old house that you could find during that time period. Other then these three things everything else seemed normal. The neighbors, the little boy, and the language used in the play matches the book.

Outside reading #20

I read another chapter of the book Marley and Me by John Grogan. Now with Marley becoming old he is losing his eyesight and is less mobile then he was before. Marley no longer chases or reacts to a bunny rabbit then runs a couple dozen yards in front of him. This allows John to assume that his dog is blind. Also Marley cannot move around as much as he used to. It is explained that he has to get a running start to get going up the stairs and that sometimes he makes it up half way and has to turn around. Marley also puts in a lot of effort to get up and lay down. Another thing that is talked about in the beginning of the chapter is that Marley has really bad farts. It is said he can clear an entire room full of people. Marley will even leave himself it is said to be that bad.

Outside reading #19

This time in the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan Marley gets 4 new friends and a lot more food off the table. Marley's new friends are a bunch of chickens that John and Jenny buy from a friend. At the beginning of the chapter there are 3 males and one female. Thats not good becasue the males are all trying to get the attention of the female to reproduce with it. In the end John and Jenny trade two of the males for two females so that there would be no more fighting. Marley also is being loved becasue John and Jenny are feeding him table scraps. He is also being allowed to eat any food that falls on the floor. Even though Marley is getting all of this extra food he is still not becoming fat and obese. He is still overweight for his breed but the doctor says he is fine.

Outside Reading #18

For this blog I read another chapter of the book Marley and Me written by the same author as before John Grogan. This time John and Jenny have moved fully into there new home and our getting ready for winter. John has promised his 3 kids the wonders of snow. Since these kids have never seen snow before they are really excited. The only down side of waiting for the snow to come is that it didn't come until the third week in January. The kids loved it they were running around in it, playing with the sleds, and watching Marley go wild. Marley was the first to realize the down sides of snow. He learned that never slam on the brakes especially before a set of stairs. Also Marley and John learned that they can get some really good distance when going on the toboggan. This reminds me of my family with my little sister loving the first snow fall and my dog just going to bury himself right in.

Outside Reading #17

For outside reading blog number 17 I have read two chapters of the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan. A couple of very interesting things of happened. John has taken Marley to Dog Beach. The beach is unofficially named this because this is the only beach in the region that allows dogs. Also there are a set of rules put into place. They are not written down but if you break them you will get an evil look or a talking to by the people who are frequent visitors. John got lucky because Marley decided to throw-up in the water. Lucky for him no one was watching. Right after that little accident Marley runs to go see his new friend and decides to go poop in the water. This time of course it was right in front of a group of people. The major event that happened in these two chapters is that John and Jenny decided to leave Florida to live in Philadelphia. The reason for this move was for John to work as an editor for a magazine. If I were in his position I would of stayed in Florida because he already loved the job he had currently but he still felt like moving to the north.

Outside Reading 16

For this outside reading blog I read another chapter of the book Marley and Me written by the author John Grogan. In this chapter John and Jenny have their third child. In this book having 3 children is thought to be a bad thing, so two kids were enough. This baby is different because it is the first girl. The name of the new baby girl is Colleen. Another event that happens during this chapter is John turns the big 40. He was expecting a big party but instead he just had a beer with Marley sitting next to him. However a couple days later Jenny gives him a nice suprise party. The last main event that happened is a storm came through. From reading all I could tell was John was out working in the garden and he knew a storm was on the way. All of sudden there was a flash of light and a few moments later he wakes up with a mouth full of sand and his shovel 10 feet away from him. I don't know what really happened because he said the flash was to bright for lightening so who knows?

OR 15

For this outside reading I read another section in the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan. Once again the idea of Marley being a wild and destructive dog comes up again. This time he does this while trying to act friendly. One day John's family is going for a walk through Boca. They decide to go and eat and view a Italian Piazza. When they are sitting down thay tie Marley to the table but one he sees that Poodle he is gone with the table dragging behind him. Marley being the strong dog that he is was easily able to drag the table behind me and take out a couple people on his way to visit his new friend. If I were the owner of Marley I would have been totally embarassed. John on the other hand was not really embarrassed he just didn't like everyone looking at him. After reading this I will make sure if I ever bring a dog to a restaurant I will make sure the table is strong enough to hold back a dog trying to escape.

Outside Reading #14

When reading the book Marley and Me written by the John Grogan I made a connection between the book and the area of Edina known as the country club. The area in the book is called Boca Raton or as the people living there call it Boca. This area is described as wealthy, land of luxury sedans and red sports cars. The Country club may not have luxury sedans or sports cars but in the neighborhood you will find some nicer houses of Edina. The book goes on into more detail about some other stereotypes of Boca Raton, but none of them really describe the Country Club. One detail that did stand out is that the houses are a little older then other houses in the city. The character John describes the people in Boca as rich people who only care about themselves and their image. That image is not being carried out by the people living in the Country Club.

OR 13

For outside reading blog number 13 I read another chapter in the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan. After telling you about how wild and crazy of a dog Marley can be, it actually turned out to be a good thing. Marley got to have a film audition because he is large, dumb and a loopy dog. The owners of Marley Jenny and John were in disbelief when they first heard the news. The movie that he would be starring in was The Last Home Run. The movie in my opinion was a total fail because it went straight to video. When John watched it he say Marley have his fame for a whole two minutes. The five days they took filming Marley the director only but in two minutes of Marley. If I were the owner of Marley I would have been happy to say my dog is in a film but I would be a little disappointed to see him for only two minutes.

OR 12

I am back to reading the book Marley and Me written by the John Grogan. In this outside reading we will be looking at how destructive Marley really is. Throughout this book we see Maley going around the house and destroying things. For example the screen door or a gold necklace or the sofa. One quote that made me laugh was "when he finally returned, he had a pair of women's panties in his teeth." (Grogan, 137). I don't how he got them and I really don't want to know how but my guess is he stole them from Jenny and buried it our in the yard. Another situation that Marley becomes destructive is when he injures himself. The quote "he jammed his head into the bucket of soapy water and galloped blindly off across the front lawns with the bucket firmly stuck ouver his head, not stopping until he crashed full force into a concrete wall." (Grogan, 139) This shows that Marley doesn't really care what type of situation he gets into he will still enjoy it, even though it hurt.

Outside reading #11

How will the Minnesota Timberwolves really do this year? After reading the article in Wednesday, November 12 Star Tribune written by Jerry Zgoda it doesn't seem like they will do to well. It was titled Wolves' well runs dry in OT Loss. I didn't watch the game but it sounds like the Golden State team kept it close the entire game. Then at the end of regulation made a run to tie it up and send the game into overtime. In the end it turned out to be 113- 110 with the Minnesota Timberwolves on the losing side for the sixth time this season. Compare those six loses to their one win and we are in trouble. The article said the team is desperatly needing a victory and the coach's comment was "Whether it's at home, on the road or in Japan," all he wants is for his team to win. My closing thought is that this team is in for a wild ride that will lead to a lot of dissapointment.

Outside reading #10

For this outside reading blog I listened to a bunch of songs. I heard songs written by Queen, Black Eyed Peas and other artist. The songs were all unique in there own way, some were just songs that allow you to close your eyes and relax. I listened to a song Bumble Bee Tuna where you have to sing along to really enjoy it. When listening to Queen I was able to tap the beat to We Will Rock You or just rock along with We are the Champions. The reason I listened to all these songs is because I was on a car ride going to Camp Ripley. Why I enjoyed these diverse songs is because I just listened and concentrated and just tried to have fun while sitting in a car for about two to three hours. My suggestion to you is when in a car listen to new and different movie and try to get lost in it.

outside reading blog #9

For this outside reading blog I read another section of the book Marley and Me. It was written by the author John Grogan. In this chapter it goes into the pregnancy of John's wife, Jenny. Jenny is on bed rest because the baby wanted to come out twenty one weeks. At twenty one weeks the baby the fetus can fit into the palm of a hand. The weight is under a pound and its eyes are not opened yet. For these reasons the doctors put Jenny on bed rest so that the baby wouldn't want to come out. They put Jenny on bed rest for at least 12 weeks. This will give the baby enough time to grow and be at a healthy size to come out of the mother. Right after these twelve weeks Jenny felt the baby coming and went to the hospital. Right as she got situated in the bed Jenny had Conor.

Outside Reading 8

For this reading I read a chapter of the book Marley and Me. This book was written by John Grogan. During this chapter you see a different side of the main character John. You see him at home with just his baby Patrick and his dog Marley for a week or so. John no longer seems like that good dad that explained in the last blog but has slcked off a lot with his wife being in the hospital. John allows his dog Marley to drink water from the bath constantly, when before John would not allow him to drink from any of the water sources in the bathroom. Another way John slacks off is by not taking care of himself. He doesn't take care of his hygiene as well as he use to. For example spilling things on himself, and not changing clothes very often. A big way that you can tall that John has not been doing a very good job around the house is he dresses Patrick the wrong way. John puts the legs through the arm holes. The babies head through the new hole in the crotch of the outfit and the arms through the leg holes. This to makes me beleive that John has become really careless with his wife not being home.

Outside Reading7

For this outside reading assignment I will be looking at how good the main character, John, is at being a father. Throughout the book his responsibility grows and it starts out with just him taking care of his wife. Pretty basic becasue they are both adults. Then they start looking for their first responsibility, which is Marley. This starts off as a challenge becasue Marley is so strong and hates thunderstorms. After a while John gets the hang of it and learns how to become the master. Then comes along Patrick, child number one. John quickly learns how to become a true father and shows lots of love for Patrick. A big test for John came one night when his neighbor got stabbed and he had to go take care of her while the police came to help. The girl, Lisa, survived and now John and her are pretty good freinds. After looking at all of these things I would say John is a pretty good father but how will he do with the his second kid on its way. I will find out from the book Marley and Me written by John Grogan.

Final Product for Disney Hero

After looking at characters that Disney has created have found some heroes. While doing my research I have found 12 many artifacts for this topic Disney Hero. On top of finding these artifacts, I have found 3 main groups that you can divide these heroes into. They are Comedian, love, and crime fighters. For the love category I then broke that into two different parts being friends and family. Now the artifacts:

artifact #1: This is a movie of Mickey being brave and couragous. He uses his magical in a good and heroic way to fight against the evil powers. Now he could of gone under the crime fighting category but as most people know Mickey he is a friend to everyone so I had to put him under the friend section.

artifact #2: Artifact number 2 is a picture of the Lion King. This artifact belongs under the crime fighting because Simba and his father have to fight out the evil of Simba's uncle. Simba comes out on top to get back his kingdom and for that reason the story belongs under the crime fighting category.

artifact #3: Another picture of two great chipmunks, known as Chip and Dale. These guys are both goof-balls. The only thing that is different is that Dale has a red nose. Chip and Dale pull pramks and always bring a smile to people's faces. You will find these two guys in the comedian category.

artifact #4: Also under the comedian category is Goofy. Everyone loves Goofy because he brings everyone's laugh out. Even though he doesn't go out and fight evil, Goofy is still a hero to many for his goofy ways of being entertaining. No one knows how he does it but he is the comedian category.

artifact #5: Winnie the Pooh is a friendly guy. He has that face that means I will always be there for you. He is friend to many especially those in the Hundred Acre Woods. He has earned a spot under the friend category becasue he shows love to everyone around him. This artifact is the form of a script.

artifact #6: This one shows the true meaning of family and sticking together. It is 101 Dalmations and you will find this artifact under the family category. You will see it there because even when the puppies are without their mother and father they stick together and the evil lady. In the end the loving family becomes a hero because they show what true love can do. This movie is a good inspiration to all who watch it.

artifact #7: Another movie that was found is Aladdin. It also shows then when truly in love you can accomplish everything. Aladdin shows this by conquering the evil Jasphar with a little help. Although through the story he shows that his love is what gets him through it not riches or being prince. For this reason he has been put in the family category.

artifact #8: Another silly guy in our artifacts is Donald Duck. I found a picture of him and just looking at him brings a smile to your face. What makes Donald Duck so great is that he is just unlucky. He is the shadow of Mickey Mouse, but he uses that to show that he is truly something. The way he responds to everything is just priceless. Plus is little squeaky voice is just perfect. For this reason he belongs under the comedian section.

artifact #9: Star Wars is a great film which shows galactic heroes facing off to defeat the evil forces of Darth. I found the theme song but in the song you can just see the great heroes in the movie conquering evil. Even without the use of words the music just inspires you becasue you can certainly tell no gloomy atmosphere is allowed. For this reason I placed it under crime fighting.

artifact #10: Another song is the theme song of Indiana Jones. This song has a lot in common with the Star Wars theme song so it felt right putting it into the crime fighing area. In the movie they fight the evil forces and try to keep the 'treasure' away from them. However it needs to be done Jones is there for the rescue.

artifact #11: The third and final theme song is the theme song to Pirates of the Carribean. This adventure involves lots of deals and bargains. With this lots are broken. In the end somehow Captain Jack Sparrow comes on top to defeat the evil forces that want him killed or the treasure. With this knowledge I have put him under the category of crime fighting.

artifact #12: My last artifact is a movie of two other friends. These friends are Timon and Pumba. If you have seen these guys you know they complete each other. Timon could not exist without Pumba, it just wouldn't be the same. These guys help inspire Simba but also are comedians. They make you laugh and bring a smile to your face. With that they belong under the category comedian.

Conclusion:
Doing this project was a lot of fun. I got to go searching for funny pictures or videos. Watch things that reminded me of my childhood and it just brought back good memories. I want to teach you that these characters are more then characters they are heroes. In fact they are Disney Heroes. Through my research I have discovered that there are three main types of heros when it comes to Disney and they are comedians, lovers, and crime fighters. With these three catergories I was able to put my artifacts under them. For example Mickey Mouse went under the friend column because he a friend to many. Although some could go under another category they have more things in common with the section they are placed in. For example the Lion King could go under friends but it can be related to Indiana Jones for fighting evil and getting rid of it, so it goes under crime fighter. If I has the time to I could of gone into a deeper search found more artifacts to prove that these categories have a reason for there existance but I do think that these 12 artifacts really show the categories well.

"She shot me a bemused smile as if to say, You do what you have to do to pay the rent." This quote comes from the book Marley and Me and you can find it on page 114. Marley and Me was writted by John Grogan. This quote seems to symbolize a lot of peoples views on how to get by in life. Wether it is good or bad you have to do what you got to do to pay the rent. In the book Marley and Me the situation is not so good. It suggests that one way 'to pay the rent' is prostitution. Even thought there are a lot of people who do buy into that there are still some good ways to pay the rent. One way is having an actual job or occupation. Anyway my suggestion is don't take the easy, illlegal way to make some quick money. For example prostitution or selling drugs. Actually try to do make money the morally right way.

Outside reading 5

The Unspeakable Odyssey of the Motionless Boy written by Joshua Foer really brings you into the life and research gone into Erik Ramsey after his crash. Erik is one of those kids who was perfectly normal but gets unlucky one day. Even though he physically becomes different he still is the same deep down inside. A quote that really helps show this is "it might go faster if there's a pretty young women at Erik's arm helping him." This just shows that he is trying to impress the ladies just like everybody his age. Another example of this Erik spelling out Amanda. His family does not know what this means but is still shows how Erik feels toward women. From here you may be wondering why Erik? Why cna't it be the guy who just killed 3 people? The answer is he got unlucky but there was a reason for this to happen. I think the reason is that he will be a key to the future. This is because by Eric letting all this research be done on him he is letting the doctors to be able to communicate and maybe save people from this problem in the future. If you look at it this way Erik could be conisered a HERO.

Siddhartha #4

In my point of view, yes, Siddhartha has reached Nirvana. I truely believe that everything that Siddhartha has done on his journey had a reason. Even though Siddhartha may never know the exact reason, there still is one. A lesson that I know Siddhartha has learned about life is the concept of wisdom. After following Siddhartha wisdom is what he learns and he does this by living many different life styles. These lifestyles include Brahmin, Samana, an ordinary upper classman and a ferryman.
Siddhartha begins his life by entering a household with money and lots of teachings. He is under the order of his father and for this reason Siddhartha is very respectful to him. Siddhartha learns many teachings and how to be respectful. Then with his dad's permission Siddhartha goes and lives with the Samanas. From these people Siddhartha learns the truths behind fasting, knowledge, and possess nothing. From here he enters a wealthy life with drinking, sex, gambling, and an occupation. Siddhartha begins to crave these things and then learns from this mistake. Finally after leaving this life he becomes a ferryman and enters a life of peace. He learns how to be patient and listen. Siddhartha learns from the river. Siddhartha has learned things about respect, fasting, knowledge, drinking, sex, gambling, listening and peace not from people but by going out and living life.
In conclusion I beleive that Siddhartha is truely happy with the choses that he has made. This makes me feel great inside to see one of my friends become happy in life and reaching Nirvana. Siddhartha has truely acheived this state of Nirvana and his father would be very proud. In general Siddhartha has understood what wisdom is by going out and being a leader in his life. Siddhartha has also learned that wisdom can not be taught by just teaching. An example of Siddhartha learning this is when he has Govinda kiss his forehead. Finally I have learned that there is one thing Siddhartha can teach about from all of his adventure and that it no one can teach you wisdom only you can. Wisdom can be obtained by going out and living life in a way that leads to the ultimate goal of Nirvana.

Outside reading 4

For this outside reading I read the book Marley and Me. It was written by John Grogan. I just read a section in the book where it seems like the main topic is sex. There is two different stories going on about this topic. One of those is the main character John talking about how he needs to carry out his manly duties by trying to get his wife pregnant. The other story going on at this time is the dog Marley may need to get his testicles cut off. Marley made need this because his doctor says they are quite big and he has no potential for using them in the future. In this book Marley and Me, John doesn't want to carry out his duties but he wants to save the dogs sex life becasue he thinks it is a great experience to have. In my opinion the main character John comes to quick decions without fully thinking about it. He does this by saying things that contradicts him and doesn't think about other people's feelings toward something.

outside reading 3

I started to read Mister Monday written by Garth Nix. I only read the first 2o pages but it seems to be a lot like Harry Potter. This is because random people come from this different world that we have no idea exists. Also the main characters are alike because they are not liked by the people around them. In Harry Potter its his family while in Mister Monday its the classmates. Another connection is that the main character in both of these receives some sort of device to help them out. Although in Mister Monday all we know about this device is that it clears the main character's, Arthur Penhaligon, asthma. Also we know that the guy who gave it to him is Mister Monday and that Mister Monday is trying to avoid a punishment by giving this device to Arthur. Other then all of this information I don't know anything else about what is going on or what is going to happen next. Basically I am confused!!!

Thursday night I watched a couple innings of the Philadelphia and Los Angeles baseball game. It started off quickly by Los Angeles scoring there first run in the first inning. Thats all I saw on television. Friday morning, the next morning, I read in the paper that Philadelphia won 3-2 over Los Angeles. This gave them the sereis lead 1-0 best of seven. My predictions is that Los Angeles will end up going to the World Series. I also read a story about the rivlary of the Boston Red Sox and Tamba Bay Rays. The teams both said that the thing fueling the team rivalry's is that both teams keep winning. The newspaper includes a picture of the two teams in a bench clearing brawl. It ended with 8 players suspended. There first game is tonight at 7:37. My predictions is that Tamba Bay is going to face the Los Angeles in the World Series

The game was on Ch. 9 at 7pm
The news article is in the Star Tribune. It was written by Fred Goodall

Siddhartha #3

Dear Advice Columnist: I have a friend named Siddhartha. As a child he was one of those boys who obeyed his fathers and elders. Siddhartha had “a moderate life, pleasure in thinking, hours of meditation, secret knowledge of the Self,” (Hesse, 76). He learned a lot from his teachers and wanted to constantly keep learning from them. He had friends like Govinda and I. My concerns for him are what he has become today. He has turned his life around completely. I don’t know the exact reasoning why but he did.
Basically Siddhartha’s new life is all based on money, possessions, gambling and drinking. “Siddhartha began to play dice for money and jewels with increasing fervor,” (Heese, 79). He became addicted to this game and “he dreamt of money at night,” (Heese, 80). Siddhartha believes to be a superior but I truly believe now in his current situation that he is not superior to the people around him. It seems as if the wine makes him lazy and forgetful and leading him into darker ways.
I don’t know what to say to do to help my friend. If you could help me out then a persons life could be turned around but I really hope to hear back form you.
Thank You,
Cabel

Dear Cabel: I had a friend once who turned his life in a negative direction. My life to you is to always be there for him. It sounds like you are doing that for him by contacting me. I would just to try to talk to him and have him reflect on what has been going on in his life. Don’t get into a big deep argument but push him away from his greedy ways. Just remember that something good always comes of something negative. When helping Siddhartha, just know something good always comes later in life from these negative experiences. I know you will do the right thing and even after you feel that he has turned from his greediness just keep checking in on him. I wish you the best of luck and I hope your friend Siddhartha will see the light!

Siddhartha #2

Govinda starts the conversation by writing “Hey, Cabel how is life without Siddhartha for you going?”
Cabel replies “I am getting used to it, why you ask?”
“Well Siddhartha has left me so I was wondering how you coped with it when he left you?”
“I just said it is life and tried to live my own life. Although just to let you know this was predictable because you have always been a step behind Siddhartha. For he excelled you in learning and he even wanted to keep learning more then you have.”
Govinda writes while crying “Why did I choose to follow Gotama?”
“I do not know my friend but ‘do not forget Govinda that you now belong to the Buddha’s holy men.’ (Hesse, 30)”
“Thank you Cabel for showing that I truly need to leave Siddhartha once and for all because I belong to Gotama’s word”
“Govinda I have to go but if you need any help later on just write and I will try to help you”
“Farewell, Cabel”

From here I know Govinda is going to write back because Siddhartha and he were the best of friends. Through writing to one another I can tell Govinda is in a lot of pain for he realizes that Siddhartha was lost in this decision. I don’t know if he really regrets his decision but it brought him pain. What will Govinda do? I feel that Govinda will stay strong like he has his entire life and follow the ways of Gotama. I feel sorry for him because I know how it feels to lose Siddhartha. Siddhartha I know for sure will be fine and he will find his own unique way to search for himself. How he searches for Self I have no idea.

Outside reading #1

For this outside reading assignment I have finished the book Wake written by Lisa McMann.

Dear Lisa McMann,

I thought your book Wake was a very good book becasue I have never read a book with this type of layout before so that really interested me. I enjoyed how you layed out the time of day at the beginning of every paragraph. Also I have never read a book about a person who can go into people's dreams watch and even change the dream. The part that I really enjoyed is the giant twist you bring to big towards the end. A question I have a question about the book and that is why did Janie need permission to help out the person in need while they were dreaming? Other then that I got everything else in your writting and I loved it. If you could get back to me about that question that would be great. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear back from you!!!

Sincerely,
Joe W.

Hi, my name is Cabel. I am a very good friend of Siddhartha’s. We have known each other since Siddhartha was about 6 years of age. I am 33 years old and my occupation is a teacher and so I have been teaching the young. Siddhartha is one of my best students. Anyway, my facial features are blue hair, brown eyes, and I always have a smile on my face. I am a little less than 6 feet for my height but a little over 140 for my weight. Some things that I enjoy doing in my free time is meditating on what I have done today and determine if it was right and if not how can I do it better next time.
As you already know I have known Siddhartha for a very long time. I have been teaching him since he was six years old. From this teaching we have become really good friends maybe not as good as Govinda and him. I was a little disappointed to find out that he would be leaving his hometown to go live with the Samanas. I knew Siddhartha would learn from this experience but I would miss him greatly. When he was living with the Samanas I heard that this Buddha named Gotama was visiting the town of Savathi. With no one really to talk to at this time I decided to go pay Savathi a visit. Once there I thought I say Siddhartha and Govinda but I knew they were in the forest so I thought nothing of it. Once I say Govinda take allegiance with this Buddha then I knew Siddhartha had to be in the town of Savathi. Before I could find him he had left the city so I started back for home hoping he would return there.

Self-description

I am an active individual. Running, basketball and baseball are sports that I am really involved with. Along with these sports I also get outside for activities such as camping, backpacking or just taking my dog for a walk. My dog is a black lab named Riley. On the days where you cant go outside and enjoy the weather I enjoy playing ping-pong/table tennis with my brother. Besides all these activities I do enjoy math and science.
